This site and the promotion was cool and fun to create! It was a contest where the winner would get to perform on stage during the MTV music video awards.

The rules were simple. Record yourself (or with friends) playing Rock Band. But users had to place Pepsi products within the shot then upload their video to be judged by other users.

Users judged videos by selecting a winner from head-to-head video challenges. In the end, the video with the most upvotes won.

Most of the videos where pretty bad with players literally setting up a camera to record themselves sitting in a room just playing the game. Some users made real rock videos complete with video edits, stage lighting, and effects, all while using the game controllers as their instruments. Rad!
